National Language Day Celebration |
Participation as the host of the concert dedicated to the 30 years of Uzbek Language as the National Language of Uzbekistan
Within a month of productive rehearsals started on 1st October, the student prepared an excellent scenario and quiz for the show on Uzbek & Russian languages. During the preparation, the student learnt performing and presentation techniques and demonstrated his/her interest in public speaking.
Overall, the 1.30-hour show were hosted by the students, whose impact into the National Holiday celebration was highly evaluated by WIUT students and administration.
The activity contributed to the development of four WIUT graduate attributes:
• Critical and creative thinker;
• Literate and effective communicator;
• Global in outlook and engaged in communities;
• Socially, ethically and environmentally aware. |

WIUT Talent Show 2019 |
Participation in the WIUT Talent Show 2019 (December 10) as a contestant. Among 30 contestants and 16 performances, the student demonstrated their talent performance, which was judged by invited jury members (SU president, famous actor and entrepreneurs). More than 300 people attended the event. Participants went through a rigorous selection process. It took more than two months to prepare for the competition. Students with the help of staff members participated in rehearsals, attended musical clubs and prepared their performances on the high level, which included singing, videos, dancing groups, and instrumental accompaniment. The contestant demonstrated the self-control, excellent skills, such as musicality, artistry and sense of rhythm and style. Moreover, participation in the event promoted the development of interpersonal skills such as leadership, team building, presentation, non-verbal and verbal communication. The activity contributed to the development of three WIUT graduate attributes:

• Global in outlook and engaged in communities;
• Socially, ethically and environmentally aware. |

WIUT West TV |
The student is awarded for being a constant participant of West TV in 2019-2020 academic year. The results of the club’s production are the video materials in the form of TV programs, which were broadcasted through WIUT Media system on all of the screens in the University and social media platforms such as Instagram, Telegram and YouTube.
Any WIUT student who becomes a member of this club takes their first steps or continue their journey in the world of Media Production, where club members share their theoretical knowledge and interact via indoors and outdoors practices. The participants of the club demonstrated their passion for videography, reporting, video editing, learned various camera features, light techniques, working with different types of video editing software. West TV participants were actively involved in all of the WIUT events being organized by the Students’ Union, including field programs in regions of Tashkent to represent and share other clubs’ activities, and constituted interviews’ material with our students who voluntarily worked with children in different schools.
The awardee demonstrated creativity, great communication, time management and team working skills.
The work done by the student contributed to the development of the following WIUT graduate attributes:

Course Representation 2020-2021 |
Awardees served as Course Representatives for the period of 1 semester (either semester 1 or semester 2) in the academic year 2020-2021.
Student representation at WIUT is performed through a scheme whereby a student is elected through an open vote by peer students to fulfil the role of a Course Representative (CR) for a semester or the full academic year.
Course Representatives collect feedback from their peers to share with senior academics through Course Committee Meetings (CCMs).
This allowed the University to consider improvements and additions to be made to the tools and services offered to students, thereby making a valuable contribution to the overall student experience at WIUT.

Hosting WIUT Talent Show |
The student participated as the emcee (Master of Ceremony) of the annual WIUT Talent Show 2022.
Within two weeks of productive rehearsals, the student prepared a scenario in Russian, Uzbek and English languages. During the preparation, the student learnt performance and presentation techniques and demonstrated interest in public speaking.
Overall, the 2-hour show was hosted by the student whose impact into the event was highly appreciated by the invited guests, WIUT students and the administration.
The activity contributed to the development of three WIUT graduate attributes:

• Literate and effective communicator
• Socially, ethically and environmentally aware. |

Moderating a Book Club session |
The Book Club is an initiative carried out by Learning Resource Centre for promoting both the Library resources and engaging students in creative work. The Book Club is aimed at building culture of reading and enhancing dialogue between WIUT students and staff members through books. LRC's mission is to re-discover reading as a principal activity for obtaining knowledge through collaboration.
The facilitators shared their knowledge, opinions and experiences which were very beneficial to the participants.
The Book Club sessions were as follows:
Session 1 (4th October 2022): “Emma” by Jane Austen facilitated by Mukhlisa Atakhodjayeva. The session was emotional and full of light, which also raised great interest of participants.
Session 2 (18th October 2022): “The Five Pillars of Leadership” by Paul J. Meyer and Randy Slechta facilitated by Dr. Michael Clarke based on request.
Session 3 (25th October 2022): "Outliers” by Malcolm Gladwell facilitated by Nastarin Makhmudova.
Session 4 (8th November 2022): "Blood, Sweat and, Pixels” by Jason Shreier facilitated by Ayubkhon Nigmonkhujaev. A very specific book written dedicated to the game industry.
Session 5 (15th November 2022): “Mindset” by Carol Dweck facilitated by Ezoza Kamalova.
Session 6 (22nd November 2022): A bestseller book “And Then There Were None” by Agatha Christie facilitated by Anisa Temirova.
Session 7 (20th December 2022): A special session dedicated to the Harry Potter universe (J.K. Rowling) facilitated by Amirkhon Rakhmatkariev based on request.
Session 8 (31st January 2023): A bestseller book “It Ends with Us” by Colleen Hoover facilitated by Gulnoza Abdullaeva.
Session 9 (14th February 2023): “Who Will Cry When You Die?” by Robin Sharma facilitated by Rano Rozikova.
Session 10 (28th February 2023): A modern book “Bridgerton” by Julia Quinn facilitated by Malika Abdullaeva.
Session 11 (6th March 2023): A famous book “Atomic Habits” by James Clear facilitated by Bekhruz Akhmedov.
Session 12 (13th March 2023): The first interdisciplinary session that covered Japanese culture in collaboration with the Anime Club facilitated by Timur Martinez-Mukimov.
