Their role included such tasks as meeting the students, holding sessions and helping them prepare social activities for their final day of the orientation week. Apart from that, mentors have been supporting students throughout the year by referring them to appropriate services provided by the university. 588 26/02/2018 Sports Festival among the students of international universities of Tashkent 2018 First Place Basketball «Sports Festival among the students of international universities of Tashkent - 2018» was conducted amid 370 students of international universities in 8 different types of sports: Volleyball (male, female) Basketball, Arm-wrestling, Swimming, Ping Pong, Chess and Football. In preparation for this event, WIUT basketball teams had regular training sessions 3 times a week, each session lasted 2-3 hours. Friendly games were organized with MSU, INHA, GRSU teams. The team took part in the «Sports Week» which was conducted by the Ministry of Higher Education.

Apart from that, mentors have been supporting students throughout the year by referring them to appropriate services provided by the university. 3072 25/10/2018 Dedication to the work of the Drama Club Participation as a Drama Club member. It took students five and a half months to prepare a performance. They met three times a week and each rehearsal lasted approximately 2 hours. Students had to work on their language skills, namely, pronunciation, enunciation and voice projection. In the process of cooperation with each other, they improved their interpersonal skills, creativity, and time management. The product “ The Naked King” was shown on two days for about 550 viewers. The activity contributed to the development of four WIUT graduate attributes: • Global in outlook and engaged in communities; • Socially, ethically and environmentally aware • Critical and creative thinker • Literate and effective communicator
3664 03/10/2018 The "Warm Heart Foundation" Charity Program Assistance Volunteering in the WIUT Charity Program "Warm Heart Foundation" (September 2018 - May 2019). The Charity Program volunteers assisted in no more than two activities such as interactive events for disabled children from school №57, WIUT Charity Food Fair, New Year Ball charity campaign, Charity Campaign “BeTheChange”, Basketball Master-Class for pupils of school №57, Psychology Session for WIUT students, Charity Action “Give Your Clothes a Second Chance”, etc. The role of a student as a volunteer included helping with the organization of Charity Program events; had a great contribution in charity fund rising through the preparation of delicious foods for our students as well as teaching students to feel empathy for people who are in need and promoting charity in general.
4368 19/11/2019 WIUT BASKETBALL CHAMPIONSHIP 2019-2020 Second Place Award Student was part of a team which won 2nd place in basketball competition «WIUT BASKETBALL CHAMPIONSHIP– 2020» which was conducted among 100 students of WIUT and was held from 19 November 2019 until 21 January 2020. WIUT basketball players had regular training sessions of 3 times a week and each session lasted 2-3 hours. Friendly games were organized with teams from MSU, INHA, GRSU and from other Universities. The team took part in << WIUT CUP – 2019-2020>> among all students of WIUT
4683 24/02/2020 «Sports Championship – 2020» Between International Universities of Tashkent Second Place Award in Basketball Tournament «Sports Championship – 2020» was conducted among 500 students of 10 international universities and 9 different types of sports: Volleyball (male, female) Basketball, Arm-wrestling, Badminton, Swimming, Table-tennis, Tennis, Chess and Football.
4805 09/09/2019 CIFS Student Mentoring Program Student Mentoring Program is aimed at assisting freshmen students who just joined the university. Student mentors are carefully recruited from the high-achieving students of upper levels. Once the mentors are chosen, they are trained and assigned to one of the freshmen groups of students. Mentors actively assist Academic Counsellors during the Orientation week. Their role includes such tasks as meeting the students, holding sessions and helping them prepare social activities for their final day of the orientation week. Apart from that, mentors support students throughout the year by referring them to appropriate services provided by the university. 4919 01/10/2019 WIUT Charity program - Warm Heart Foundation The student is awarded for being an active participant of the WIUT's uncommercial charity program - Warm Heart Foundation during the 2019-2020 academic year. The student was voluntarily supporting the program's initiatives and taking active part in different charity actions to establish a contact with inclusive society and people in need. He/She demonstrated his/her empathy, passion for kindness and love towards the world. A Warm Heart Foundation participant was involved in the WIUT Annual Charity events, trips and other social projects. The student was closely cooperating with the university administration, other WIUT clubs and highly contributed to the University’s social events. The awardee demonstrated dedication, creativity, great communication, time management, team working and organizational skills. 4994 01/11/2019 WIUT Basketball Club The student is awarded for being an active participant of one of the WIUT sport clubs at WIUT- Basketball Club during the 2019-2020 academic year. The results of the club are as follows: the club popularized basketball and sports at the University, won all friendly matches and showed excellent performance at the “Sports Championship 2020”. Any WIUT student who becomes a member of this club takes their first steps or continue their journey in the basketball. The participant of the club demonstrated passion for basketball. Basketball Club participants were actively involved in the WIUT Basketball championship, and other sport events. The student was actively cooperating with the Students’ Union and highly contributed to the development of WIUT students’ social and sport life. The awardee demonstrated dedication, communication, hardworking and team working skills.
